Message	Exhaust modification is legal (cats required) as long as the SPL is less than 95 dB(A) 18" from tip at 45 deg angle. Most cops do not know the law. Make sure you have a front plate even though it defaces the nose. I know people who have been pulled over and had their hood poped for this.
